Either way, you are guaranteed to enjoy some of the best drinks and food in town. It wasn’t easy, but we narrowed down our 4 new favorite hotspots that will  truly leave a lasting impression. As we say here in Mexico “Buen Provecho.”

Located in the heart of San Jose, “La Lupita” is the new way of experiencing a casual vibe with a seamless coexistence of authentic Mexican food, music, artistry and community all under one roof.  The menu reflects the roots and classic dishes of Mexican cuisine but with a modern twist that appeals to all tastes. You’ll find delicious crafted cocktails and an extensive list of Mexican wines. One of their most popular item is the “Bullfighter” tacos! They run various specials and happy hours throughout the week and live music on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

The recent trend of  “farm to table” experience has exploded across Los Cabos. It’s the best way to get fresh, delicious seasonal ingredients directly from local farms and upcoming new organic markets. Floras Farm pioneered the farm-to-table dining scene in San José del Cabo, and has become a mandatory stop for visiting foodies. This magical spot is tucked away in the outsides of San Jose del Cabo. Making it an intimate and unforgettable experience. The restaurant looks out over a 10-acre organic field, filled with most of the ingredients listed on the menu. The food is superb, and crafted unique cocktails are incredibly delicious. So fresh you’ll think you’re actually drinking a healthified drink. Like their Organic Carrot Margarita. Reservations are always recommended for any day of the week but especially on Sundays for a spectacular brunch.

The highly acclaimed new dining hotspot at the luxury property The Cape (a Thompson Hotel) Manta is run by Chef Enrique Olvera, who also developed Pujol in Mexico City, currently rated one of the 20 best restaurants in the entire world. The location of Manta results in jaw-dropping views of the Pacific Ocean and the legendary Arch. It’s one of the best places to dine during a gorgeous sunset. The rotating menu focuses on Pacific Rim cuisine and fresh local seafood, with 15 – 18 dishes available on a nightly basis. Multi-course tasting menus are the preferred dinner option, with excellent pairing advice provided courtesy of the onsite sommelier, whose generous wine list includes numerous options from Baja’s wine country, Valle de Guadalupe.

 4. ACRE

This intimate, al fresco space surrounded by green palms and acres of land is one of the must-go to’s when in Los Cabos. It’s quite the adventure getting to Acre restaurant. Driving through winding, dusty roads only to arrive to an oasis in the middle of the outback desert. The style of Acre is a completely new concept to anything in town. It’s the first of it’s kind where appreciation for design, sustainability and modern life intersect. It is also “farm-to table” cuisine using foods and spices to prepare the dishes and cocktails that are grown on five of the 25 acres that make up the farm. They truly focus on highlighting Mexico’s diverse range of flavors, foods and spirits from around the country. Allowing you to experience fine dining with true to Mexico’s roots, at it’s best.
